While the delicate fragrance slowly invaded the temple lost in a network of caves, the orcs sat cross-legged, their weapon lying in front of them, and closed their eyes to meditate on the battle to come.Among these valiant warriors only one had found the Way of Jackal. And it followed two different paths… The Master of Rites’ eyes moved rapidly behind his closed eyelids, revealing the doubt that has always been within him.“Am I a warrior or a messenger? Should I vow my life to war or to Jackal?”These questions seemed unanswerable to him. One day he would have to choose…
  The Masters of Rites are often seen as the spiritual guardians of their Jackal brothers. They also watch over the temples of the elusive god of Bran-O-Kor, but their great experience allows them to contemplate the cult of Jackal’s mysteries with the wisdom of a warrior. A Warrior-monk Orc, the Jackal Master of Rites can adapt his Aspect ratings to the role he is given. He can either become Master of Rituals where the support for the Conclaves is favoured, or Master of Battles who sows death and vengeance upon the battlefield. Whatever choice he makes, he can distribute Amulets of Jackal that are blessed by the god of the canyons. His miracles are dedicated to the ambivalence of his position: Inspiration of Jackal awakens the spirit of Bran-Ô-Kor by providing magical support to the Shamans of his people. The Mahata, the sacred song of the orcs, wakens valour and fury in the warriors’ hearts by allowing them to re-roll their failed Attack Rolls!
