  Consumed by Vice, the Ophidians are back on Aarklash and are charging body and soul into the battles shaking the continent. They have created a race of slaves, more active and less warlike, the result of the monstrous alliance of human and serpent: the asps.
  The asps are Ophidian assassins. Their human ascendance gave them endurance and the art of combat; their ophidian ascendance has heightened their sense and vowed them to Vice. They strike their enemies without mercy or any consideration for their own lives. Those who do not finish sliced open by these insane killers will die soon after, fallen by the venom of their weapons.
