  The caste of the Hunters only acknowledges two authorities. The Great Horned One is the supreme expression of authority. A living symbol of wisdom, the one they also call the Master of the Hunt is the only member of the tribe who has more influence on the king than the Druids themselves.
The Young Horned One is a Hunter who, through his strength, intelligence and bravery, has proven himself worthy to succeed the Master of the Hunt if he should die. Every year the title of Young Horned One is put up for the taking, yet for seven years now no one has managed to deserve it more than Tanath.
