   The sun had set on Syharhalna a while ago, leaving the desert skies to a whimsical wind coming from Ephren.
   The city of Djaran, under Griffin authority since several decades, seemed to be sleeping peacefully. For hours a furtive shape has been standing motionless, like a gargoyle of flesh, on the roof of a cheap hotel at the city limits. Who could have told what this silent and patient woman was waiting for?
   The moment she had been waiting for finally came. The Akkylannian tax collector appeared from his weekly meeting with the city’s most important merchants.
   Ysis slowly loaded her crossbow.
   Ysis is the prototype of a new generation of clones designed to carry out the most dangerous missions. The one they already call the Viper of the Desert is an accomplished Assassin who also has the Toxic and Bravery abilities.
